Description
The Kansas City Renaissance Festival began its journey in September of 1977 as a benefit for the Kansas City Art Institute. Since then, the Kansas City Renaissance Festival has grown to be one of the largest Renaissance Festivals in the United States, with an annual attendance of 200,000.
The Kansas City Renaissance Festival is located 15 minutes and 500 years west of downtown Kansas City. Our main (King’s Gate) entrance is on 130th Street, between State Ave. and KS Highway 7. The Queen’s Gate entrance is at 126th St. and State Ave. We share parking lots with Azura Amphitheater (formerly Sandstone or Providence Amphitheater).
Festival is open on Saturdays and Sundays, September 3rd-October 16th, 2022, plus Labor Day Monday + Discovery Day Oct. 10
