I don't know if many of you know this, but I am actually rather new to the Leavenworth and Wyandotte county areas. My family moved from Gardner, Kansas to Basehor, Kansas just a few years ago. In the past few years since we moved here, we've done our best to start integrating into the community, doing our shopping here, getting Everly involved at the local dance studio, and all that. It's a little difficult to integrate and become familiar with the community when you don't yet have a school age child, and you don't have a lot of friends living in the area. Obviously Macaroni Kid has been a fantastic avenue for me to learn more about the communities surrounding our town, and to get to know a lot of local moms and small business owners.
That said, for the last two of Everly's birthdays, we've driven back out to our old stomping grounds to hold her party. This year, I've decided to host it at our home, but I need help! I need suggestions for all the party things! Entertainers, caterers, cake makers, invitations, party favors, party supplies, and more! If you have a company or individual from either the Wyandotte or Leavenworth county area, please send me their info! I would love for this party to be created 100% by local makers that I can later showcase here on the website, and through social media. For my soon-to-be 4 year old who is obsessed with Elsa, the party theme is (of course) princesses.
