I don’t know about you, but between work, play, and making some fun things happen for Macaroni Kid, it has been a busy week in our household! I can’t complain too much, because although the week has been busy, it’s been fantastic.
On Saturday, Anna from The Retreat Cleaning Service came out to our home. She cleaned our disgusting beast of a house from top to stinkin’ bottom, and it has never been cleaner...ever! And guess what? Because the house looked so amazing when Anna finished, my husband has actually been cleaning up after himself this week so that it stays this way. Winning!
Monday, Everly had her first lesson at Emler Swim School of Kansas City - Westwood. We’ve done swimming lessons in other places in the past, but I feel really optimistic about what I saw at Emler. Everly was smiling and laughing the whole time, but while she was laughing, she was swimming! I can’t wait to see what her progress is like over the coming months.
Tonight we get to go to Disney on Ice at the Sprint Center. Everly’s cousin is coming in town, so the two of them will get to spend some quality cousin time and enjoy the show. They are both big into Elsa and all that, so it should be a blast. Then, they’re going to stay the night and we’ll head to the Kansas City Zoo in the morning.
