This article highlights my journey with Jenny Craig for the week of April 19th-25th.

Well, folks, I’ve arrived at the end of my Jenny Craig journey. As you know, Jenny Craig graciously gave me the opportunity to be on the My Rapid Results program for the last 8 weeks, and I can’t thank them enough. After 8 weeks on the program, I have formed so many fantastic new eating habits, am feeling great about myself and my wellness, and I lost 12 pounds, to boot! (* Avg. weight lost in study was 11.6 lbs./4 wks. for those who completed the program. I received promotional consideration.)

As my time on the Jenny Craig program comes to a close, I want to go back to my original “why?” for wanting to take this journey. 8 weeks ago, I set out because I wanted to look better, feel better, fit in clothes that made me feel confident, and I wanted to get a better handle on my general well being. And, I wanted to do it for my daughter. I wanted to have my weight and health under control so I could be active with her and present for all the wonderful events life brings for a young woman. I also wanted to teach her how to be successful in business and life, but most importantly, how to be successful in caring for herself first.

I am proud to say that today I do look better, fit in my clothes much better. I have a much better handle on my well being, and most importantly, I feel 1000% better. It’s incredible how building healthy habits and paying attention to what I put in my body has changed my outlook on each day, and how I feel about myself at the end of it. I’m no longer going to bed disappointed in myself for what I ate that day, or waking up thinking about how I’m going to stay on track. What I eat and when are just good habits I’ve built!

I can also claim success in being active with my daughter, and teaching her about self-care as a mom. Since I have been eating well, I have more energy, and somehow, more time to play with her. On Jenny Craig, the meals are planned out and prepped for me, so I suppose the time I would previously have spent prepping separate meals for myself and my family has been cut in half, which has opened me up to more playtime with her. We’ve been going for long walks, bike rides, and doing lots of YouTube yoga. We are even starting to learn to golf together! We’ve spent more quality time being active together than ever before. I’ve never felt more present, or more like a “good mom”.

So, the lesson, I suppose, is that Jenny Craig helped me accomplish all the things I set out to do when I started my journey and even a little more! With the help of the meal program, my Jenny Craig consultant, and the support of my family, this has been a life-changing experience for me. I will never go back to putting myself second, third, or fourth because as I’ve always known, I can take better care of others if I first take care of myself. Jenny Craig has given me the tools to put those words into action, and I’ll be forever grateful for all I have learned and experienced the past 8 weeks. Jenny Craig is a really fantastic program, and I highly recommend the program to anyone who wants to do something positive for themselves, for both their mental and physical wellbeing.  If you have any questions about my experience with Jenny Craig, please feel free to reach out and I would be thrilled to share more about my journey with you!
